Groove Racing Gear (GRG) is proudly woman-owned and veteran-operated by founder Tamara Wallace, whose life has been shaped by motorsports, service, and innovation. Growing up in a family rooted in towing and automotive services, Tamara began racing karts at an early age, developing a deep respect for the grit and dedication behind every lap. After high school, she enlisted in the U.S. Air Force as an Armament Technician, working on advanced aircraft, including the F-15E and MQ-9. Following her service, she transitioned into the tech industry, earning her MBA and pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration—blending technical expertise with a passion for leadership and business transformation.
Driven by her love for motorsports, sustainability, and creating positive social impact, Tamara founded GRG to challenge the status quo in racing gear. At Groove, gear isn’t just manufactured—it’s co-created. Racers are collaborators, not customers, with a personalized design-to-delivery process supported by private client portals and dedicated team members. Each piece of gear is built with SFI-rated safety standards, premium customization options, and the individuality to reflect the racer’s boldness, resilience, and identity on the track.
