    Groove Racing Gear Suit and/or Glove Insurance Policy

     

    Policy Overview: Groove Racing Gear offers an included Insurance Program to provide added peace of mind to our customers. This program is designed to cover the replacement of your custom racing suit and/or gloves under specific conditions, such as natural disasters or damage sustained from a racing accident. The policy does not cover normal wear and tear, minor snags, or damage arising from conditions outside those explicitly mentioned. Below are the terms and conditions of the Groove Racing Gear Suit and/or Glove Replacement Policy under the Insurance Program.
     
    1. Covered Conditions:
    • Natural Disasters: Your racing suit and/or gloves are eligible for replacement if it is damaged or destroyed as a direct result of a natural disaster, including but not limited to:
      • Fires caused by wildfires
      • Flooding
      • Earthquakes
      • Hurricanes
    • Racing Accidents: The program covers damage sustained from racing-related incidents, such as:
      • Fire exposure during a racing event
      • Accidental tearing or destruction caused by severe impact or collision during a race

    2. Exclusions:
    • Normal Wear and Tear: This policy does not cover damage arising from regular use, including:
      • Fading, fabric pilling, or thinning over time
      • General wear that results from repeated washing or exposure to the elements
      • Minor Snags and Cosmetic Damage
    • Damage that does not compromise the structural integrity or safety of the suit, such as:
      • Small tears or snags not caused by covered incidents
      • Scuffs, stains, or cosmetic imperfections
    • Non-Racing Damage: Any damage sustained outside of racing events, including but not limited to:
      • Improper storage or handling
      • Damage caused by pets, non-racing activities, or misuse
    • All Sim Racing Gear (suits, gloves, and shoes) are only covered in the event of a natural disaster. All other forms of damage are excluded. See natural disaster in Cover Conditions. 

    3. Coverage Window:
    • Coverage under this policy is valid for 6 months from the original purchase date of the karting suit, FR cotton suit, and/or karting gloves. 
    • Coverage applies only to the most recent purchase of the same product. For example, if you buy a new suit, the insurance no longer applies to any previously purchased suits—it only covers the newest one.
    • Coverage under this policy is valid for 24 months from the original purchase date of the suit.
    • Coverage under this policy is valid for 12 months from the original purchase date of the gloves.  
    • Coverage under this policy is valid for 12 months from the original purchase date of the shoes.
    • Customers may file one claim per suit and/or gloves within the coverage window. Once a claim has been successfully processed and a replacement issued, that suit is no longer eligible for additional claims under this policy.
    • To be eligible for replacement, claims must be submitted within 7 days of the incident resulting in damage to the suit. Claims filed after this period will not be considered.

    4. Claim Process:
    • Documentation: To initiate a claim, you must provide:
    • Proof of purchase (original receipt or order confirmation)
    • Photos of the damaged suit and/or gloves, clearly showing the affected areas
    • A brief description of the incident and any supporting documentation (e.g., news reports in the case of a natural disaster, photos from racing incident)
    • Submission: Claims should be submitted through Groove Racing Gear’s online claim portal or by contacting our customer service team at [sales@grooveracinggear.com/+1 775-234-8827].
    • Review and Approval: Groove Racing Gear will review your claim and, if approved, issue a replacement of the same model or a comparable one within 30 days of claim approval. 30-day issue window excludes manufacturing timeframe.

    5. Additional Terms and Conditions:
    • Replacements are issued based on the original purchase specifications. Groove Racing Gear reserves the right to replace the suit with a comparable product if the original model is no longer available.
    • Replacement suits do not include new or different customization than the original purchase unless explicitly stated otherwise. In this case, the claimant would be responsible for design fees based on the selected design line, prior to approving a new suit for manufacturing.
    • The Insurance Program and Suit Replacement Policy are non-transferable and apply solely to the original purchaser.

    6. Policy Changes:
    • Groove Racing Gear reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Suit Replacement Policy or Insurance Program at any time. Any changes will not affect active claims or existing coverage within the current policy window.
     
    By participating in the Insurance Program, you agree to the terms outlined above. This policy ensures that your Groove Racing Gear suit and/or gloves is protected from unforeseen circumstances, providing you with reliable support and replacement options in the event of covered damage.
